How can I purchase tickets for Trinbago 2023?

Tickets go on general sale from 11 July 2023 at https://www.tikkets.com. 

Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and payment will be taken immediately at checkout. For each session, there will be an availability indicator, showing which sessions have seats remaining

How much will tickets cost?

We want Trinbago 2023 to be available to everyone so to help ensure affordability, ticket prices are a standard TT$30 / US$5 for adults , with the exception of the Opening Ceremony which is TT$50 / US$7.50. Youngsters under the age of 18 will be able to access for free but a seat must still be booked through the ticketing platform to gain entry into the venue. This is applicable for the majority of the sporting venues and for access to the Opening Ceremony. 

The Exceptions are the Road Cycling and the Triathlon which will be accessible free to the public outside of the venues. The Closing Ceremony is not a public event and tickets cannot be purchased for access to this venue. 

Can I purchase tickets for all sessions?

There will be tickets available to purchase for all sessions when tickets go on general sale. Tickets are  available for all sports which includes athletics and para-athletics, Rugby 7s, FAST5 netball, Swimming, Beach Volleyball, Track Cycling and the Opening Ceremony. Some sessions will have limited tickets available as a result of the smaller venues. These sessions include: swimming, track cycling and the finals of all the events.

Is there a limit on the number of tickets I can purchase for each session?

To give more groups of people a chance to attend, there is a limit of four tickets for each session. If you have already purchased tickets for a session, these will count towards your overall ticket limit. For example, if you have purchased three tickets for a session where the overall limit is four, you will only be permitted to purchase one additional ticket.

What are the rules for purchasing tickets?

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and please ensure that the lead booker's billing and payment address is the same. Tickets can be purchased online by card payment, or at the venue ticket offices

Can I purchase for more than one session?

Yes. You can purchase for tickets for any of the available sessions. Ticket limits per session apply.

Are there different price categories?

All tickets with the exception of the Opening Ceremony, are priced at TT$30 / US$5 for a seat per session. Under 18s have free access. The Opening Ceremony is TT$50 / US$ 7.50

Can Under 18's purchase tickets?

No. You must be at least 18 years of age to register a ticketing account.

I can no longer attend a session for which I have purchased tickets. Can I get a refund?

No. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged once they've been purchased other than in accordance with the Ticket Refund Terms.

Please be aware, tickets may only be advertised for sale, sold, or disposed of through Trinbago2023 sale booths. Selling or advertising tickets for sale through any other means is a criminal offence. For further details please see our Ticket Terms and Conditions 

Can I purchase tickets on behalf of someone else?

tickets get issued with a QR code to allow access to venues. So, while tickets can be purchased for guests, the purchaser will need to either share the ticket physically or use the functionality on the ticketing platform that allows a ticket to be downloaded separately from the group. 

What payments can I use?

Tickets can be paid for by using a credit or debit card.

Why are some sessions showing as unavailable?

There are limited seats for some sessions due to high demand and smaller venues. 

Can I purchase tickets using my mobile device?

Yes. Tickets can be purchased on any device which allows you to access the Trinbago 2023 ticketing website https://www.tikkets.com

I’m not a resident of Trinidad and Tobago, can I still purchase tickets?

Non-residents of Trinidad and Tobago can purchase tickets by visiting https://www.tikkets.com.

I’m a resident of a non-Commonwealth country, can I still purchase tickets?

Residents of non-Commonwealth countries can purchase tickets by visiting  https://www.tikkets.com.

How will I receive my tickets

Tickets are delivered with a QR code to the email address provided. In addition, purchasers can also access their tickets at any time, available from their ‘My Tickets Page’ on the ticketing platform.

What does a ticket provide access to?

A ticket will provide access to one sport session - the time and date will be displayed on the ticket. Most sports have more than one session in a day so please double check the times on your ticket. 

Does the ticket cover public transport to venues?

The ticket covers access to the venue and a seat for a single session. It does not cover your cost to travel to the event, any costs incurred around parking or purchases made while in the venue. 

Are there any free events? 

Yes. The Ticketing programme is complemented by two free road cycling events and the and the Triathlon event Visit the sport pages on Trinbago2023.com for further information

The events which have sections that offer free viewing are:

  • Cycling Road Race
  • Cycling Time Trial
  • Triathlon

Will tickets be available for spectators with accessible requirements 

Trinbago 2023 is an inclusive and accessible event, featuring the first para athletics programme in Youth Games history.

Tickets are available to spectators with accessibility requirements in every session at all venues. 

How do I know the ticket I am purchasing is through an official sales channel?

Tickets can only be purchased through  https://www.tikkets.com.  Any tickets not obtained through the official ticketing platform or the official Ticketing booths at the venues will have been sold by an unofficial reseller should be reported to the Trinbago 2023 Organising Committee 

How do I know who is competing and when?

Visit the Trinbago2023.com website to read the full Games schedule and event listing per day and session.

Do you offer concession tickets for Children?

Yes. Children under the age of 18 have free access to venues. However, you must still book a seat on the ticketing platform to ensure entry to the venues. 

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my baby?

Any child attending the Youth Games under the age of 18 months will not require a ticket for entry. However, the child must sit on a guardian’s lap and not take up a physical seat.

Venue Entry Conditions

To be read in conjunction with the Trinbago 2023 Ticket Terms and Conditions. 

The safety, security and enjoyment of all people attending, working and competing at the Games is of paramount importance to Trinbago 2023 and the Games Partners. Pursuant to the Trinbago 2023 Ticket Terms and Conditions, all Ticket Holders will be bound by, and must comply with the Venue Entry Conditions, and the list of Prohibited and Restricted Items and prohibited actions contained therein, which will be made available to all Ticket Holders prior to the start of the Games online at www.Trinbago2023.com and at the spectator entry gates of all Venues. Ticket Holders must read the Venue Entry Conditions carefully prior to entering a Venue. If a Ticket Holder does not understand or has any queries in relation to any part of the Venue Entry Conditions, then they should contact the help desk for further clarification. It is important that Ticket Holders are aware that access to Venues and Sessions will not be permitted to any person in possession of any prohibited item included in the list of Prohibited and Restricted Items and that any person found not complying with the Venue Entry Conditions will be refused entry to or evicted from the Venue without a refund or compensation[AH5] .
